Studies vs. Gadgets, what will you choose?

Students now are very unfocused to their studies. Technology is leading them to a road of excitement, which is surely what they love. But what about their grades? What about their future? Will it still be this vices they have that could lead them to a better road to success?

If you'd be asking students about their hobbies, 'playing computer games, playing psp, listening to my ipod/mp3, surfing the net, and watching tv' would be their normal response. Have you ever wondered where is reading in their daily lives? Where is studying in their daily routine? Students become lazy as they become in to those addictions. They just want pleasure, they just want to enjoy. Studying would just become a forced activity to them, that they need to do it for their parent's sake.

What we don't know is that studying is our priorities as students. This is our first step to achieve our success in the end. We need to know what we have to know, and we shouldn't just take it for granted. I admit that I am lazy sometimes when it comes to this matter. But i realized that, if I will not be able to have good results in my studies now, what else waits for me tomorrow? The future depends on what we are doing in the present. If we are striving hard for something, then in the near future, you'd be getting a reward. Same as with studying, with good grades. If we, students, focus more on our studies, the future will bring us what we deserve.

I am not saying that gadgets should be fully avoided, but we must learn to discipline ourselves and to focus our minds to what reality is. Gadgets are used for pleasure, but should be used with control. Don't get to addicted, don't get too distracted from those things. Learn how to live life wisely, learn how to properly deal with things.
